Business Etiquette for the New Professional

Structured to meet the unique needs of individuals who are entering a professional environment for the first time. The topics covered are similar to those offered in the Business Etiquette for the Professional course; however, the approach is more comprehensive. There is a section which focuses on the issue of generational diversity. The goal is to assist the audience with an understanding of protocol issues which may be different for someone who has been in a corporate environment for many years as compared with someone who is entering that culture for the first time. |

An entire seminar devoted to the nuances of dining. This session is designed to provide the participant with a sense of ease and comfort in most dining situations. Highly interactive and reality driven, this course provides the attendees with the etiquette book rules from several sources as well as a check in with practical etiquette in a professional setting. |

The ABCs of Professional Image

This is a comprehensive seminar focused on professional image in the workplace. The session is built around the ABCs (Appearance, Behavior and Communication) of Image. The topics covered include: dressing for a corporate environment, business casual to maximize your image, attitude of professionalism and basic guide to dressing for a variety of situations in business. In addition, the Behavior portion of the session covers business etiquette, social etiquette (for networking situations) as well as dining etiquette. In the Communication section, there is a review of verbal and non-verbal interaction in the workplace. The participants will learn how to draw people out in a conversation, how to be a positive presence in any meeting and how to interact with peers and managers as well as employees and clients.
This seminar may also be structured as a one hour overview program and introduction to the other more comprehensive sessions. |
